Dr. Richa Saxena is an Obstetrician Gynecologist, a brilliant academician, and an advocate of womens health. A graduate of the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, she went on to complete a master's degree in Gynecology from Delhi University and a clinical research project at the AIIMS, New Delhi. Desiring to acquire a further higher degree from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists-London (RCOG), she travelled to the UK in 2004. She is an artist and a creative person.
She is the recipient of the Rotary Vocational Excellence award (2017-2018) for exemplary service in the speciality of Obstetrics and Gynecology despite her physical health related problems. She has also received the Woman of Substance Award (category healthcare) for the year 2022.
