From Suketar, the trail undulates between edge towns and valley connects over frigid streams. Elevation is lost for the initial four evenings before consistently ascending to 4,620m at Ramche: the last station. A morning walk then leads onto the Yalung Glacier moraine where a banner festooned chorten, close to the southern base camp, offers consummate perspectives of the mammoth south face of Kangchenjunga and its neighboring ice-edges.
The course then heads west to Chukkung Pokhari, on the way to Ghunsa. Five connected passes, including Sinion La (4,646m), should be crossed. This requesting course is every now and again snow secured. Awesome perspectives are conceivable from its high focuses.
From Ghunsa the trail climbs northwards, through wonderful woods that offer approach to clean vegetation as the height increments. Towering pinnacles transcend the trail as it works its way up the precarious sided valleys. The last stage takes after the moraine of the Kangchenjunga Glacier to yak pastures at Lhonak: a green plain 30m over the icy mass and encompassed by towering ice tops.
A two-hour stroll along the moraine prompts to the view point at Pang Pema. Here the icy mass makes a sharp swing toward the south and ascends to uncover the magnificent main part of Kangchenjunga's north face. Come back to Ghunsa and after that take after the waterway to Chirwa and Mitlung before moving back to Suketar.
Wellness, solid boots, warm waterproof garments, a great dozing sack, day pack camera, sunscreen and cap are basic things.
We offer both outdoors and teahouse trek to this locale. Walk May and September –November is the best time to Kanchanjunga trek.
